Loading bellows spreader

At the request of a customer, J. Boersema came up with a solution to load containers more effectively. After a year of testing and adjusting in close consultation with the customer, the spreader worked to his full satisfaction. To prevent bad imitations the invention was reported to a patent office and after the necessary paperwork the special spreader proved to be unique indeed!

In February 2000 J. Boersema, as the inventor, received the official patent certificate.

Measured power

The Spreader is equipped with two motors, each with an output of 3 kW (230/400 V). With a gear ratio of 1:1, the balanced spreader disc has a speed of 1,500 per minute. The spreader head is equipped with a power switch that continuously measures the power consumption. If the set value is exceeded, it means that the product level has reached the spreader disc and the Ecospacer stops. The switch has two contacts for closing the silo valve.

Spills are a thing of the past

When the loading bellows are raised (with the electric hoist), the spreader disc is first pulled against the rubberized lower head of the loading bellows. The plate closes the lower head in such a way that no product can spill.

The spreader can be mounted under almost all types of loading bellows. The diameter of the loading hoses that can be connected is 410 mm (inside) and 610 mm (outside). The 110 kg device has a height of approximately 870 mm and a width of 1,200 mm.
